Happy New Year 2019

December 30, 2018…the Sun is setting over Magic Kingdom.

Waiting for a calendar date to commit is flawed.

Picking a date (any date) to fully engage our resolve is generally helpful.

Any day of the year is a good day to do any of the following three…

•  rethink  •  reprioritize  •  recommit

Rethinking is step one.

Rethinking is typically a catalytic response to a wake up call.

Rethinking helps us discover some obvious habits we need to confront and change.

Too much sugar can lead to a heavy body, and too many distractions can lead to a heavy mind.

It is never too late to change.

A year from now you’ll wish you had started today.

Happy New Day

Disney Institute Keynote Speaker
No way. None. Zip. Zero. Zilch.

Happy New Day.

Nearly a year ago on January 1, 2018, most of us said, “Happy New Year” for a couple of days.

Eventually, we stopped saying this wonderful greeting.

Why?

Because two, three, four or more weeks later, “Happy New Year” seems off-base.

In an effort to keep the excitement, wonder, and hope of a new year alive, i coined “Happy New Day” as a way to humor myself and honor the true gift that each and every day brings.

Note. As i write on this December 19 morning, we are 13 days from “Happy New Year 2019”.

64 days and 4 days equal New Years Day 2019

freedom myths
i’m not delusional, i’m an entrepreneur.

When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.  – Wayne Dyer

.see .differently

.think .differently

.do .differently

There are 64 days before New Years Day 2019 as i type this.

And of course, there are only four days as this goes live.

Pretty cool to experience these wonderful thoughts twice.

Once, during the creation of the post.

And again a second time two months later, never knowing what the morning’s posts will bring.

This is like seeing it for the first time because so much time has passed and so many (300) other posts have been created between then and now.

One Question A Day?

Google Happy New Day and what happens?

jeff noel Disney speakers
Love that my Disney Institute colleagues, who know my business, have adopted .think .differently to help them market their message. In this case, they’ve heard it over and over.

Google Happy New Day and what happens?

You discover the phrase you coined has been coined already.

But how does that work if you’ve never heard or seen the phrase before, does it exist?

Happy New Day.

Go.

PS. One of my favorite Disney Institute phrases is D’Think.

Independence Day will forevermore have a double meaning

Disney Customer Service Keynote Speaker
Officially launched on Independence Day (yesterday).

Independence Day will forevermore have a double meaning.

Mid Life Celebration is three simple things:

  1. rethink
  2. reprioritize
  3. recommit

Never too old to begin anew.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.
