Such a privilege to reach 60.

Old is always someone older than you.

Because of this phenomenon, at 60 i don’t feel old. High schoolers, however, have to look at 60 as ancient.

And so it goes.

How old do you feel?

Take care of yourself.

The long way is the shortcut.

Improvisation is key as a Disney leader

Disney Keynote Speakers — Yesterday. It was a cold morning at home. Hat, gloves, many layers.

Rode a bicycle to Magic Kingdom at 7:30AM yesterday to film a two-minute video for a client.

When i travel, like i did last week, the Disney Passes in my wallet come out, to travel lighter.

Forgot to put them back in and wasn’t able to enter Magic Kingdom.

What to do?

Walk over and climb the stairs to Disney’s Contemporary Resort observation deck.

Make the most of the hand you are dealt.

It was fun.

And i’m reminded what a privilege it is to enter Magic Kingdom anytime i want.

International travel is gradually becoming normal

A few minutes ago….top line.

Bogota, Columbia sits at 7,500’.

Makes Denver’s mile-high status (5,280′) not so impressive.

The Mile High City likely got its nickname from some clever marketing person.

In America, it works.

Yet there are many global cities that a mile up is not noteworthy.

Sitting in the Bogota airport writing this post and reflecting on the past three day’s experience.

Yesterday was full of Kentucky surprises

Yesterday was full of Kentucky surprises.

Four days at the brand new (five weeks old) Omni Louisville and all i saw was my room and the lobby.

On the way down from the 10th floor, stopped on three to check out the fitness center.

Then stopped at two to see the meeting rooms.

Will be back in Louisville in a few weeks.

It would be prudent to know the resources.

Mini epiphany with Apple snafu

Ted Talk on habits — A simple way to break a bad habit – habits include the insecurity we carry with us.

You can imagine all the Apple haters grabbing their megaphones and shouting, “See, Apple is bad.”

To which i say, “Do the math, the long-term math.”

Apple’s IOS security is second to none.

And then the mini-epiphany
