What does it take to improve ourselves during midlife?

Book manuscript change order
130 pages, 12k+ words, three small changes…

What does it take to improve ourselves during midlife? And do we care? Are we motivated?

Funny how the smallest of changes can add up to make something good, better. A book manuscript. A life.

It works in the opposite direction too. Small things (even as small as not changing) can make something good, not so good.

The echo of this wisdom is painfully obvious.

Self publishing for the first time seems overwhelming and something reserved for special, talented people.

Self publishing the second time is going to be a breeze.

Thirty years for the author to finally write the first sentence

Mid Life Celebration first edition finished title page
Mid Life Celebration first edition finished at 130 pages (Sept 5, 2013)

Mid Life Celebration took 34 years, mostly because the first sentence took 30. Another two years to write. Two more to overcome the fear of shipping, and now another 100 days (estimate) for Xulon Press to publish.

Here is to hoping December 15, 2013 becomes a milestone day.
