Thank you Disney Institute for giving me great parental focus

The clock is always ticking and time waits for no one. Photo: Last night at Bucknell University.

With only 52 beads left in the 17-year old bead jar, my awareness is heightened.

Your option to choose to leave the nest at 18 will be legal.

A Father’s job is to protect and to instruct.

Give them roots and give them wings.

Had it not been for the work i did at Disney Institute, i would have never been so focused.

Will you look back and feel blessed by this?

Take care of your attitude.

No one else will do this for you.

Ok?

The gift of turning 17

Night time swimming in Orlando
August 11th. Earlier in the day we walked to Bryant University in Rhode Island.

Turning 17 today is a huge honor.

Most 17 year-olds (especially me in 1976) have no idea what a gift it is to see your 17th birthday.

At 17, much of what we have in our life is assumed.

A roof over our heads, free school, paved roads, plenty of drinkable water, access to medical treatment whenever necessary.

Can you imagine living in a part of the world where all this would feel like Heaven?

Change is the only constant

Bryant University Buildings
Tour and sales opportunity combo yesterday.

September 11th is a month away as i write this.

The shock and awe from 2001 has subsided, at least for me.

In its place a new concern.

The threat of a nuclear war.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Do you believe that last sentence?

Fire and furry versus your attitude

Bryant University
Yesterday on Rhode Island business trip.

With yesterday’s “fire and fury like the world has never seen” comment from President Trump, how will you maintain a positive mental attitude?
