In sharing the Disney Compass this morning to the office manager, it dawned on me…

When you not only know your customer but understand them, you tee up “surprise and delight”.

Surprise and delight is the bull’s-eye for creating “wow“!

Anyone can create it for anyone.

Why the customer service world hasn’t embedded this as a non-negotiable is beyond my comprehension.

Never owned a new car. Not to save money although you do. And yet i’m always wanting THE most excellent work tool. Not trying to spend frivolously although it may seem so. Ps. The green medical bracelet comes off in mid-November.

Post Op Day 8, mind

August 12. Cheryl is turning it in today, September 22. Six weeks parked without moving a single mile, and probably lonely for its driver (me).

Today Cheryl awoke to 41 degrees in Kalispell, Montana. Counting yesterday afternoon when she landed, she’s got 40 hours to do what we need done to close out 2023 and prep us for 2024.

Eyesight update

Three weeks post eye surgery update.

Vision started noticeably improving after two weeks.

After three weeks (three days ago), getting same-day noticeable improvement from the morning to evening.

Late yesterday was the first time i noticed crispness or clarity. Up until last night, all vision and improvements have contained a fog or haze.

Looking forward to sunrise this morning to spend more time enjoying the gradual vision recovery (transformation).
