Travel home to Walt Disney World Our final day in Glacier National Park. The clear sky at dawn gave way to clouds and rain as we drove to Kalispel airport to return home to WDW. 4am 5am From my bed. 5:30am 5:45am 6:00am With little to do but stare out the window, the view was constantly changing. Village Inn at Apgar Yesterday began at 4am in the Lake McDonald Lodge lobby, using wifi to check in on the real world. During this time, there were two trips back to the cabin to make the second and third cups of hot water with honey. 4am 5am Lake McDonald Lodge boat dock. On top of De SMET. Climbed onto top deck. We were six cabins from main Lodge. Being off the grid for four days has been a shock to the system. A good shock. One that may soon be a thing of the past. There are few places in America left untouched by instant communication. The common sense lesson has been this: Life goes on without us. And our life isn’t dependent on knowing what everyone else is doing. Next Blog

When was the last time we went to sleep anticipating a sunrise we may never get a chance to witness again? And a crazy west facing sunrise to boot. Yesterday’s west facing vantage point from our balcony offering something unlikely to come again. A boy, almost 15, finding it difficult to be inspired at such an early hour. Good morning from Many Glacier Hotel We began yesterday (day two) morning where we finished day one. Yesterday morning at sunrise. Heading back to Rising Sun for breakfast. The morning sun changes the entire mood. St Mary Lake is Magical. Good morning from Many Glacier Hotel. Photos above are from yesterday. And right now i’m sitting on our balcony overlooking Swiftcurrent Lake and a nearly indescribable mountain view. Awaiting the sunrise, listening to Mother Nature awake. Good morning from Rising Sun Motor Inn and Cabins Yesterday at 6am enroute to Orlando airport. Date, time, flight number. Yesterday afternoon. The pace of life is under our command. It doesn’t seem so because we crumble from the pressure to fight back. More. Better. Faster. First trip with no laptop. My son’s first trip with no video games. The pace of life has slowed.
