Is life really this simple?

High School Improv event poster
Yesterday. Life is about handling what comes our way (improv). It’s also about over-managing (intentionality) every detail.

Just another ordinary day today, right?

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone. – Audrey Hepburn

My version of this is simple too:

Live like you mean it.

The common denominator in those two quotes is intentionality.

When we over manage the things we used to under manage or ignore, our life positively changes in ways we could not see before.

As simple (or difficult) as focusing on good versus focusing on faults.

Think like you mean it

Yesterday the iPhone 6s and 6s+ filled the hands of many new owners.

Think like you mean it.

What attitude is required to not abandon what seems impossible?

Walt Disney World quote on a sign
Interesting perspective and contradictory to Steve Jobs’ approach.

How do you send the right message to your customers? And for that matter, anyone.

People are so diverse. What they like and don’t like. The reasons are many.

Where is the common ground?

And what attitude is required to not abandon what seems impossible?

Are you willing and comfortable?

Orange County Florida overgrown sidewalk
Yesterday during morning run. Overgrown so slowly, it nearly chokes the path.

How do we tell if our attitude has changed for the better over the years?

Easy.

Ask yourself, “Am i willing and comfortable to go back to the way i used to be”.

Let’s agree to disagree

Orlando based motivational speaker
We biked to school and back on last Saturday and Sunday.

If you only share the good and never reveal the bad, no one will really know you.

Our son said the other night in the pool, “Nothing ever bothers you”.

“Finally”, i thought to myself, “He’s seeing the consistency in my behavior”.

He didn’t say, “Not much bothers you”.

Or, “You hardly ever get upset or angry”.

He said, “Never”.

My advice to you:

Go through life assuming everyone has had it at least as bad as you.

Use this knowledge to inspire yourself to understand that those who live vibrantly, are going through the same hardships as you.
