Leadership isn’t just about work

Spaceship Earth at dusk
Future World. What is our “future world” and will we work hard to shape it in spite of the obstacles?

Our attitude shapes everything about us.

Leadership isn’t just about work. Leadership is about balance. This includes figuring out how to manage an often overwhelmingly busy life. My posts are meant to state the obvious, which is easy to ignore when we’re overwhelmed.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

This website is about our mental attitude. To easily and safely leave this site to read today’s post on jeff’s physical health website, click here.

  1. So true Jeff. Our lives are observed by coworkers, family and friends. If we don’t manage our lives well, we lose our credibility as Leaders. I love the quote of the Navy Seal Chief who said: ” There are no bad teams, only bad leaders.”

  2. Brian, if you had to give yourself a grade for your personal management, what would you give yourself? Don’t answer it here, it’s rhetorical. It’s incredibly challenging to please everyone. Most people have issues under the surface that are staggering. It’s the proverbial “elephant in the room” that no one wants to acknowledge.

Be well and remain amazed. 🙂
