Or worse, it is scary how the word “Work” gets moved into that top three and pushes one of those out. Thanks for the encouragement and reminder! Bob Bob, yes, brutally easy to get priorities skewed. And here’s what I think about work….we must do it…it’s our contribution to society. Every ant in the ant colony and every bee in the bee hive makes a contribution. So, work we must. After decades of thinking work was separate from my “personal life”, I’ve come to find that I serve God, my Family and myself as I work, with my work, and how I work. Could go on and on…. 🙂 Jeff, Absolutely – whatever do you, do as unto the Glory of God, whether it is cleaning the bathrooms to running the company. I just know at a point in my life, I had to realize that my work wasn’t my identity in life. And that is a trait that can happen, especially for breadwinners of a family. One of the first questions people ask each other when they are introducing themselves to one another is, “What do you do for a living?” It is like society can encapsulize who you are by what you do. That’s why I said, “Thanks for the reminder!” 🙂 Bob Bob, you’re welcome. Always love hearing from you. Always. 🙂 Comments are closed.
