Home for treatment

airport parking garage elevator reminder
Have used Lyft and Uber for years versus parking at Orlando International Airport (OIA) when traveling. Before Lyft and Uber, always parked car at OIA parking garage when traveling for Disney Institute.

Home for treatment.

Timing made it easier for me to park and walk to baggage claim than to wait for them to meet me outside at arriving flights.

A photo (above) of the parking level is always easy and potentially helpful.

Consistently using small, simple, easy, scalable processes is a mindset.

Most patients at the Infusion Center have cancer. Most people don’t know today (May 19) is World IBD Day. Inflamatory Bowel Disease has no cure. IBD is not terminal, yet prolonged, untreated inflamation increases the odds for colon cancer by 30x. Last time anyone checked, colon cancer is fierce.

Orlando, The City Beautiful

Orlando Florida from a jet
Orlando and iconic Lake Eola, 2022.

Orlando, The City Beautiful.

We live as far away from Orlando as you can possibly live and still have an Orlando address.

How it’s possible is beyond me.

This is why, at less than a mile from Walt Disney World, when people ask me, “Where are you from?”, i answer, “Walt Disney World.”

It’s a mindset, not a zip code.

Year of a Million Dreams

Year of a Million Dreams.

Remember the Magic?

Remember some of the more recent Walt Disney World marketing slogans?

51 and a day

Disney Cast Member Service trophy
Guess who took this photo? Hint, not Cheryl.

51 and a day.

Only a day over 51 years-old and already, the question…

What’s next for Walt Disney World?

Hey, while we’re on it…

What’s next for you?

For me?

For starters, as always, personal vibrancy.

Continuous improvement with a growth mindset.

Impossible is nothing.

And it’s never lost on me that the clock is ticking.

Livin’ the dream

Today’s posts include four Morgan Wallen music videos. Taking a break from the war, business, and Covid. Morgan has a storied past. He has, in my opinion, tried to redeem himself. It’s all any of us would want, a chance to prove ourselves worthy of respect. This first song reminds me of what it’s like to be a Disney Keynote speaker…you know, with all the glamour that comes with what outsiders perceive to be a ‘rock-star’ job…thank you Morgan for capturing the essence of the paradoxical reality of “fame”…

Livin’ the dream.

Take a moment to recall Bill Wither’s song, “Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone”.

Always said while traveling constantly for Disney Institute, “Ain’t no glamour on the road.”
