You think you can’t?

Impossible isn’t something no one’s ever done. Impossible is anything you think YOU can’t do.

Seeing clearly is rare

Three days ago. While waiting for Dr. Shuumski to perform the YAG Laser Procedure in my left eye, i looked around the rather small procedure room. This caught my right eye.

What’s that saying…

We don’t know what we have until it’s gone.

Note: In the procedure room, below the Right-Eye Model (photo above), there’s a plastic, softball-sized model of the photo. You can hold it and examine it three-dimensionally.

May it be worth defending

May you have things worth being motivated about and may you have the motivation to peruse them.

And even if these things are difficult, may they be the right things for the right reasons. And may it be something important enough for you to defend.

Do or do not

Dreams require risks. Risks require failure. Failure enables growth. Growth enables dreams.

Do or do not do the work.

Is there a third choice?

No, from my six decades on this planet. i have discovered my own truths. Truths many others embrace, and at the same time, many others shun. Right or wrong, we need to commit. i am committed to my truth – which may grow and develop as more years teach more lessons.

Some might say that doing some but not all of the work is doing the work, and i say that doing the work is like a marriage, you are 100% committed or you are not committed. Cheating means failing.

At some point, i deemed my being faithful to a positive attitude was all or nothing.

Cheating by being impatient, unkind, angry, and negative means i have failed.

i do not like that type of failure.

Failing from calculated risk taking inspires me.

Needed to say all of this to clear up any doubt about my intimate relationship with failure.

Different day, same old same old

Another day on your horizon. Day after day, until we run out. Photo: yesterday approaching Sanford, FL airport.

‪Knowing and not doing is the same as not knowing.‬

‪Nothing changes when nothing changes.‬

Different day, same old same old.

Habits.

Rituals.

Yesterday you said, tomorrow.

Surprise, today is yesterday’s tomorrow.

How bad do you want excellence?

How great is the mental nutrition you feed your attitude?

If it truly is great, the way to make it even greater is to teach another and teach them long enough to see the transformation.

Ten weeks until we all get a fresh decade.

You thinking about it?

Note, when this goes live on December 21, 2019, we’ll all be looking at a 10-day countdown versus a 10-week countdown.

Truth be told, i’ve been thinking about it for a couple years already, asking myself:

  • What’s next?
  • What if?
  • Who can help?
  • What does the world need that only i can provide?
  • What do i do better, differently, or both, than anyone else in the world?
  • How do i market it?
  • Is it worth it to follow this path?
