The jar has been there for 18 years
The jar has been there for 18 years.
The jar was filled with 936 small beads – one bead for every weekend in an 18-year old’s life.
Our Son turns 18 tomorrow.
i have a calendar appointment for every Saturday labeled “take a bead”.
Today is Saturday.
The jar in the photo above is now empty.

Everything takes longer than you expect
Generally speaking, everything takes longer than you expect.
So please don’t become impatient or discouraged by your inability to quickly accomplish certain things.
Impatience and discouragement are sure bets for quitting.
Quitting leads to wondering “what might have been”.
“Might have been” leads to regret.
And reget, last time i checked, sucks.
