Third day of retirement begins right now

On the third day of retirement there is an unusual feeling never felt before in 55 years. One that began swelling up yesterday (a Sunday) with the realty that there is no longer a boss to answer to today.

Or ever.

Not in the traditional sense anyway.

There’s a new sherif in town as they say. He’s a good guy.

jeff noel is an Orlando based motivational speaker. He has spoken to one million+ people globally. Mostly Fortune 500’s.

He recently retired from Disney after 30 incredible years, including the past 15 speaking for Disney Institute.

It is rare when someone with this experience, personality, and drive become available.

Six more days until retirement. Most colleagues think it’s going to be a stage in life to take it easy.

But there’s too much work to be done.

And too many people struggling to make sense of their midlife.

This is where the world could use a movement and someone to lead it.

This is where the world could use a little “Magic”.

Why can so few of us slow down enough to appreciate unusually rare art?

Called three people yesterday on the flight home from Detroit. The calls were the first of this type in 55 years.

The people were chosen for their dedication, support, encouragement, loyalty, hope.

People side by side with MLC from the beginning in April 2009.

Mid Life Celebration’s very first post was November 14, 2008.

Sure it’s challenging to read five daily, differently-themed blog posts for five-plus years.

Maybe they were contacted because they understand it’s exponentially more challenging to write them.

No theory here.

Only real life in real time.
