Worst case mentally

Baby bunny in the leaves — Cheryl saw something move this morning. Maybe a month ago i saw an adult Rabbit dig a hole and then cover it with leaves. The cover up was so meticulous. Had i not witnessed the circular clearing and the hole, i’d never believe it happened.

Walt Disney’s Three Little Pigs is the best reason to plan for worst case. It summarizes the consequences for not preparing.

Worst case mentally is i deny the future exists right around the corner and if i’m lucky, i’ll live in it someday. Even worse, i’ll settle for a “good enough” attitude and a closed mindset (“like everyone else”).
