One day at a time

American Flag
No wind yesterday on the walk to breakfast.

To know is to do.

To know and not do, is to not yet know.

One day at a time seems ridiculous to point out, yet it’s profoundly accurate.

We did a nice job of this yesterday.

The three choices

Think about your motivation, your goals, and your personal responsibility.

Will your thoughts move you to act?

Toward, away, or stay.

Will you move toward responsibility, hope, and contribution?

Will you retreat, avoid, or hide from responsibility?

Or, will you stay, and wait and do nothing?

It was a great day for intentional rest

As i wrote at 5:00 AM yesterday from the lodge room facing West, a glorious, two-hour show commenced, and included five separate rainbows.

It was a great day for intentional rest.

We could have easily gone hiking, but decided instead to rest physically and work steadfastly indoors while connected to Wi-Fi.

The view is superior.

The inspiration is top-shelf.

Can each day be extra-ordinary?

Being present means many things to many people. Noticing a rock, some purple flowers and wondering what the view looks like from there.

Can each day be extra-ordinary?

Depends.

On what?

On what you think is possible.

Be ready for change

Last night on our Granite Park Chalet deck.

Be ready for change.

Last night after the sun set over the Rocky Mountains, we finished the day on our deck.

Son, your four reflections from the day are a great start.

Change is the only constant.
