WDW, the growth mindset you taught me January 25, 1982 has continued to grow and flourish in my heart.
And to recall my original motivation for working a few months at WDW was simply a naive college student trying to pad a weak resume.

Happy 98th birthday Betty White.
Betty turned 98 January 17, 2020, yesterday.
So here she is, today, beginning her 99th year.
Guessing that every evening she wonders if she’ll see the light of day.
Guessing every day she wonders if she’ll get to lay her head on a soft pillow in the evening.
Perhaps that’s the paradox of 98 – there’s no doubt you only have a handful, at best, years left.
At 60, 70, 80, we can easily think, “At least another decade or two.”

Never gets old.

The juxtaposition between today when this is written and later, when this is published.
The time delay is a unique contrast to reality.
It’s a wildly creative way to be present in a single moment multiple times.
Yesterday December 4, i was focused on the publish date, February 4.
Today, i’m focused on today December 5, 2019.
Life fascinates me because so much of what we can do isn’t dependent on any tradition or current standard.
