Okay, so i know today is May 8th and my birthday is in 30 days; however, i also know that this post goes live on my birthday morning, June 8.

Fifty-nine .

Pretty cool.

So i’m celebrating this morning from a Louisville Hotel.

And will celebrate again in one month on the actual date.

PS. We learn the true meaning of a birthday when we learn to celebrate it every day.

Just because i don’t swear doesn’t mean i don’t want to.

Just because i don’t lose my patience doesn’t mean i don’t want to.

Just because i don’t argue doesn’t mean i don’t want to.

Just because i exercise regularly doesn’t mean i want to.

Just because i go to bed early doesn’t mean i don’t want to stay up late.

Just because i reduce, reuse, and recycle doesn’t mean i’d rather not hold onto things a little longer, just in case.

Just because it seems like i can shun temptation doesn’t mean i’m not tempted all day long.

Basically, excuses are invalid.

Pretty cool to hear this from an expert.

Be amazed and be amazing today.

Courage is contagious. Jealous, negative people can’t catch it, but passionate, ordinary people can. We all get 24 hours. We all have the weight of the world on our shoulders. Put up or shut up. No?

Courage.

But some people resist courage.

i know i did for far too long.

Prompted by Disney layoffs that didn’t have a logical or predictable formula, i found myself compelled to .think .differently
