Sunday, funday, mind

Sunday.

Fun-day.

Today’s posts will feature a photo from each blog’s media library.

There are 6,000-10,000 photos in each of the five blog media libraries.

And in each library i use the word “fun” to search for photos ‘fitting that description’.

Ps. This is a fun blogging idea and fun to create.

Note: Writing these on a Sunday. They publish on a Wednesday.

Two-week countdown, mind

Today’s posts are inspired by each website’s ‘blog categories’.

Blog category: Five daily blogs, seriously?

Yes.

How long have you been doing it?

Well, in two weeks, i’ll start the 18th consecutive year.

Happy Friday 33-degrees

orlando weather app
Almost frozen.

One degree shy of a January, Orlando freeze.

Had to go outside and warm the car for a chilly, 7:15 AM departure to downtown Orlando.

Dressed in layers. Started car 10 minutes early. Wore gloves to drive.

Without winter cloths, i use a growth-mindset to creatively solve for this challenge.

Ps. Did i mention it’s Friday? And, still basking in the glow from completing my Social Security application yesterday.

Doubtful, mind

11-second video: Last night. Finishing yard walkabout.

Doubtful you will ever sway another adult’s mental thought process.

Why?

Mystery, probably, of the adult human condition.

Interesting to think about.

Even more interesting to see where we’d place ourself.

No fight, respect

Disney, service, speaker
These two fought at the beginning. One of them insisted he was an official Space Ranger. The other applied their wisdom to the situation. It was a happy ending, in the end: mutual respect.

New Year.

New You.

Or is it same old, same old?

Creatures of habit.

What one person sees as dynamic tension between our different perspectives, another sees it as a disagreement that naturally leads to confrontational fighting.

i see an opportunity, an olive branch if you will.

Another sees hurtful conflict and a wall.

We see what we want to see.

We think what we want to think.

Our years of experience shape our thinking.

Growth-mindset is generally a former closed-minded person who got tired of the conflicts, walls, ‘fighting’.

Closed-mindset habitually only sees the negative, the personal, the confrontation.

Calm, level-headed conversation from a foundation of love, patience, and kindness is how the most mature communities demonstrate respect amongst the neighbors.

Reminder: What you do thunders so loudly i can’t hear what you say.
