Convenience makes us and breaks us

Stargazing is a lost pastime. Reading the sky is a lost ability. Appreciating dark spaces is unimportant. 

Thinking self-reflective thoughts is a lost pastime. Reading our thoughts is a lost ability. Appreciating a growth mindset is unimportant.

What’s more important than addiction?

Guess which one? The headliner? Yes. Sperry Glacier trail.
  • This awaits every breakfast diner.
  • Some diners “over-focus” on their name.
  • Some cooks over-focus on their pancake creations – hidden Mickey. Never asked, it was a surprise, and, a delight. Logan said the eggs/ham is Space Mountain.
  • Hitting the 3.3 mile uphill trail to Comeau Pass at 9am.
  • Took two hours to climb up three miles.
  • You have to hike a long way to get to this angle that doesn’t seem too far away.
  • The forces required to enable the landscape to bend – astonishing.
  • The birth of these mountains is mind-blowingly incomprehensible.
  • Human-made rock foot-bridge.
  • Iconic Comeau pass steps.
