Ahkil, center, is a first-timer. Djuan is back for third straight year. 
We knew there’d be some snow, yet hoped it wouldn’t be enough to stop us.

i questioned whether every upper-layer i brought (8 total), all three pant-layers, and three pairs of socks will be enough. It was.

i led our expedition behind this rock wall in hopes of a wind-break while we evaluated the weather. Mountains inhibit your ability to see what’s coming. You read the passing clouds for clues – density, moisture, wind, etc.
Habits happen by design and by default. By design is hard. By default is easy. Be great at hard work and lousy at easy work.
