Half way mindset

Disney's Jungle Cruise signage
World-famous.
Tours departing daily.

Half-way mindset is half-way commitment.

It just doesn’t work.

Except in the Jungle Cruise sign.

It works because it’s a joke.

A joke everyone understands.

At some point in life, realized i have two choices:

  1. Half way: playing to not lose
  2. All the way: playing to win

Bonus half-way commitment example:

  1. Never starting
  2. Never finishing

Therein lies two supreme goals for personal vibrancy:

  1. Starting
  2. Going all the way

Vibrant is as

thistle weed
This plant (which many Americans label a weed) is extraordinarily vibrant in this photo.

Exquisitely vibrant. Boldly vibrant. As each of us can strive to be. Take our cue from Nature.

Vibrant is as vibrant does.

Sounds elementary.

Totally get it.

Remember, not-vibrant is as not-vibrant does.

You are a product of your habits.

Period.

No negative room

Walt Disney
A visionary business founder. Not a perfect man. Yet an exceptionally optimistic person.

Fill every thought with positivity and growth mindset.

Leave no room for negative thoughts or a closed mind.

Think like it matters

Five sandhill cranes crossing a road
Playful thinking. Spontaneous thinking. Yesterday, returning from mammogram.

Think like it matters.

Deep and broad thinking.

Self-reflective thinking.

Contemplative thinking.

Visionary thinking.

Playful thinking.

Proactive thinking.

Falling ahead

Roadway signs
The other day, running an errand.
welcome to Flagler Beach sign
Meeting location is one mile from the beach. Started driving home after meeting but did a U-turn for the beach. How could you not?

The opposite of falling behind is falling ahead.

Imagine being ahead of your to-do list, not falling behind.

Imagine having enough organization and self-control to simplify your life’s daily structure and processes to a point where unexpected things don’t overwhelm you.

Imagine how your attitude benefits.
