Just keep hiking

10-second 2020 video: Getting closer to Piegan’s 9,200′ summit.

All five posts today are videos from September 29, 2020. This was simply a hike up through the Lunch Creek bowl to get to the Pollock-Piegan saddle. Then head over to Pollock Mountain to see how far i could get on my own – Pollock Mountain (not Piegan Mountain) reconnaissance.

Sperry Glacier 2021

23-second video from Sperry Glacier. The only logical way to hike here is as a Sperry Chalet Guest. Otherwise, it’s a minimum 22-mile roundtrip hike with 4,700′ elevation gain and 4,700′ elevation loss. You will encounter few hikers.
