Do you suffer from self-inflicted Preacher’s Kid syndrome?

Common sense quote
Common sense states the obvious choice. Common practice is often opposite of common sense.

Do you suffer from self-inflicted Preacher’s Kid syndrome? And my definition of this is that the Preacher preaches stuff on Sundays, but has a hard time living up to the message Monday through Saturday, behind closed doors. It’s a bit of saying one thing but doing another.

Do you only preach what you practice?

How do you know for sure?

Eliminating this changed your attitude?

Head in the sand
Our job is to overcome the fear of letting go of negativity. Modern media focuses on “bad things’ overwhelmingly more than “good things”. This has an insidious affect on humans.

What have you stopped doing mentally that has propelled your positive thinking to be so much more dominant than it was a few years ago?

In retrospect, do you ever ask yourself why it took so long to change?

Tiny, seemingly insignificant mental modification

Disney Institute Business facilitator jeff noel
All day, every day..

What’s a little mental change or modification you could make today that wouldn’t have noticeable results for 10, 20, or even 30 years from now?

For example, modify your auto-response from a negative, victim, this-always-happens mindset to a grateful, fair, thank-goodness-I’ve-experienced-this mindset.

Does your quality and quantity inspire you?

jeff noel Disney Keynote Speaker
Does everyone where you work know unhesitatingly what the goal is?

Do you think this is true?

To teach is to learn twice.

We become what we teach.

We become what we learn.

Assuming you said yes, what grade do you give yourself for the quality and quantity of your commitment to teach and to learn?

Are you satisfied with your grade?

If you gave yourself a grade for the quality of questions you ask yourself

Disney customer service keynote speaker jeff noel
Question: Why do world-class organizations make this distinct choice?

If you gave yourself a grade for the quality of questions you ask yourself about your positive mental attitude, what grade would you give yourself?
