My original Disney retirement plan was after 40 years, not 30.

Retired in 2014.
Thought it would be 2024.
Grateful to have been in the right place at the right time. Was able to make the early-retirement decision without sacrificing a Disney pension.
i know Disney colleagues that “retired from Disney” before retirement age. Some sacrificed 20 or more years of service and a bona fide Disney pension. Starting something new trumped a forthcoming Disney pension.
