He was going to do the easiest and most popular Glacier hike – Hidden Lake Trail. Told Matt, a Wisconsin paramedic and Glacier rookie, if he hiked with me and felt uncomfortable, i’d hike back down with him. 
Matt and i made it to the Pollock-Piegan saddle. Fierce, cold winds ended our journey here. Piegan Mountain (right), Mt Siyeh (left).
