Day 2 St Mary, Triple Divide, mind

Jeff Noel quote
Every Olympian’s secret.

What mindset do Olympians possess?

And why do they possess it?

What, if anything, does this mean to the rest of us?

Day 1 St Mary, Triple Divide, mind

man with eye surgery eye patch
Almost a year ago. Four days after returning home (in 2023) for a one-week break. The plan was to return for two more months, which never happened. Similar plan this year (2024).

Clarity is strength.

Strength is an asset.

Assets trump liabilities.

Back to clarity…

How high is your positive thinking bar?

Be crystal clear your highest standards.

Do the reps to reach, sustain, and improve your highest mental standards.

Day 6 West Glacier, mind

list of six short questions
Simple questions hold extraordinary ‘accountability’ power.

Yesterday’s revelation in thinking a couple crazy, uncharacteristic thoughts inspires me even more 24 hours later.

Why?

To publish deep, internalized thoughts has a power no one who’s not done it consistently can understand.

There is a universe of stuff i’ll never understand, but i really like the lane i’m in.

Day 5 West Glacier, mind

Abe Lincoln playing an electric guitar
i no longer trust photographs on the web. Take this one for example. Not many know that Abe was a lefty. (see what just happened)

Cheryl is here.

This is great news.

Like me, she bought a one-way ticket.

Gutsy?

Arrogant?

Dumb?

Genius?

Doesn’t matter, except to us.

We have our answers.

Easy, peasy.

Note: Lincoln was right-handed. It was me trying to disguise the photo’s obvious (guitar) nonsense .

Day 4 West Glacier, mind

Two people posing in front of a stuffed grizzly bear
A photo tradition upon arrival every summer.

Note to self: You do not need to apologize for your optimism. Nor for always seeing possibility.
