Vernon France, mind

 Laud Monet portrait
Claud Monet tour.

Good first night on the Avalon Tapestry II.

We “cruised” the Seine River last night from Paris to Vernon.

An 8:15am departure for a 3-hr tour of Claud Monet’s home and gardens in Giverny.

Turns out Monet was a rebel.

Arrive Paris a day early, mind

6-second video: 12:45am Orlando time. 6:45am Paris time.

How was yesterday?

Long day.

At New York’s JFK airport it was wheels up at sunset.

An overnight flight.

Incredibly restless.

We had leg room but not much back recline. And zero foot incline.

Food for thought…

Big outcome: Think the right things continually.

Big lesson: Think the wrong things hoping for a shortcut.

Big risk: Embracing a closed mindset.

Last day at home, mind

blue daze plant with blooms
Last night near sunset, noticed the first Blue Daze blooms of 2026. Great karma.

Time flies when you’re having fun.

Making progress on my Disney-lifetime of paperwork purging.

Making progress on recovering from the once-in a-decade-or-two extreme Orlando freeze.

Health metrics justifying my movement, nutrition, and rest efforts.

Travel bag is always packed and ready to go.

Biggest decision testing my comfort level is whether to take or not take my laptop. The MacBook has email and calendar features that iOS doesn’t.

“Can i live without them for two weeks?”
