Another way to say the same thing

Another way to say the same thing (three truths and a lie) from yesterday’s posts is this:

Come up with three outrageous accomplishments or experiences that sound unbelievable –  from your life – with one of them being untrue.

  1. i’ve published 17,000+ blog posts.
  2. Yesterday i walked eight miles round trip to work.
  3. i drive an antique car as my primary mode of transportation.

The two truths and a lie are revealed at the next blog.

Two mental truths and a lie

If this bronze statue wasn’t encased in glass, you’d swear the guy was human. Photo: Orlando International Airport, April 16, 2018 (yesterday).

Need an icebreaker for a group?

Two mental truths and a lie.

Ask your audience to think of two of their biggest mental or attitude accomplishments, milestones, or freakish encounters.

Maybe they used mental stamina to handle the pressure to win a National Spelling Bee championship at age 11.

Perhaps they migrated to America at 23, not knowing a word of English and are now running their own business.

Then ask them to create an outrageous “lie” that competes with their two lifetime achievements.

The goal is to stump the others at their table, or their partner if they’re in pairs.
