As fate sometimes does with planning, today’s titles, “Hiking up to Granite”, are an error.
Today is the drive from Glacier Park Lodge to a quick overnight stay at Rising Sun Motor Inn.
Tomorrow we hike up to Granite Park Chalet. Rising Sun’s location is a pivot from Swiftcurrent Motor Inn.

Learn the subtle art of slowing down to speed up.

Used to wear my busy-ness as a badge of honor.
Why?
Because it’s the Disney corporate way.
You slow down and you get left behind.
Same everywhere, really.
But when you start your own business at 50, you know a lot, and, you are in charge.
Contextual point: you’re in charge, but with a 95% chance of not succeeding. So being in charge is hard, challenging, and not a blank check to do as you please (and thrive).
That said, you can do what you want, when you want.
And if you pay attention to slowing down, you can .think .differently to probable success.

Driving to the airport, returning to our cottage and then driving back to our new accommodations…roughly seven hours behind the wheel.
i joke when people discover i’m a runner and they ask me if i’ve ever done a marathon…
My response…
No. i don’t even like driving 26 miles.
Probably drove 300 miles yesterday.
