There’s an insane amount of lift with momentum

Disney Institute Keynote Speaker

There’s an insane amount of lift with momentum.

Insane may be the wrong word here, but i’m using it anyway.

Why?

Because of the way it feels.

Insane.

Crazy.

And in my choice, the context is wicked good crazy.

Helpful.

Beneficial.

Game-changing.

That kind of insane.

The kind that serious momentum creates.

Life brings simple pleasures to us every day. It is up to us to make them wonderful memories.  – Cathy Allen

Enjoy the memories of the past, but don’t live there.

Adventure is out there.

So is paradise.

Keep moving forward.

PS. Today’s posts are in a weird space. We return to Orlando from a four-day Disney Cruise (in real time), and, as this posts live on September 23 i’ll be waking up in Glacier National Park for the first time on trip five.

When do you leave?

When do you leave?

Soon.

Is this really the fifth trip this Summer?

Yes, but technically today is the first day of Fall.

So, if we wanted to argue…but i don’t, so i’m still calling it “Summer”.

You can observe a lot by watching

thinking differently
In an airport.

thinking differently
Have never seen this done before. He made it up himself, to watch things. i was watching people at the airport and saw him – and learned something.

You can observe a lot by watching.

Your habits are yours to make, break or both.

Habits are yours to identify.

The good, to accentuate.

The negative ones, to eliminate.

Drinking coffee and diet coke was a decades-long habit. It came with pros and cons.

Long-term for the future, i saw it as detrimental.

It controlled me in a way i didn’t think was healthy.

No control.

Captive.

Daily.

Hourly.

No one forced me to change.

i changed anyway.

There are people you know who are constantly looking for their next fix.

And then there’s the paradox of accepting certain addictions because they have fewer negative consequences.

How beautiful should today be?

One day at a time – this is enough… live in the present and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.  – Ida Scott Taylor
