Is it on the test?

Instagram quote
Our time on this spinning pebble

There’s a lot humans can worry about. There’s a lot that doesn’t matter.

Is it on the test?

Who’s to know?

Easy for anyone to ask about what’s on a test. Otherwise, how would one prepare?

What do you think about a topic like this?

Why?

Bonus: What matters and what doesn’t matter almost always look the same.

Mental workarounds

Olympic trials schedule
Figured out how to watch this in Australia. Ridiculously simple solution.

Solutions are predominantly simple, yet elusive because of their simplicity.

As a last resort yesterday, i wondered if reverting back to ATT would allow me to view American cable networks.

What i was up against was that nothing that worked in USA was working in Australia.

As soon as i muted Telstra (Australia’s main cellular provider), and switched back to ‘normal’ (ATT), Peacock Network instantly became functional.

ATT costs $10 per day for the International Plan. i was trying to avoid it. And as such, never even tried.

For eight more nights in Australia at $10 per day, it’s like getting USA Olympic trials for $80 total. In hindsight, a complete bargain versus not being able to watch.

Trade a skyscraper

tall lighthouse
We can see this lighthouse from our balcony. Photo: From our downtown Mooloolaba restaurant table.

Big sky country appeals to me radically better than big city lights.

Trade a skyscraper for a silo.

Campus Kangaroos

Kangaroos on college campus
After lunch with Chapin and a friend in the campus dining hall, Cheryl and i strolled campus, stumbling upon six kangaroos.
Closeup Of a kangaroo
Cheryl sat on the sidewalk. i laid down in the grass next to her.

What is normal for me might be special for another. And vice versa.

dad

Kangaroos are no big deal in Australia’s Sunshine Coast. But Raccoons would be.

At home i find Raccoons a potential threat to home and yard.
