34-second video: Write it down. Or, record it.

When insight or wisdom strikes, capture the essence. Document it somehow or you’ll lose it forever.

So weird that we only started dining here last year, after 50 years of visits.

Day 7 CCL, mind

Three people at an airport
Dropped Chapin off at airport around 10am. Then we drove directly to Bowman Lake via Polebridge.
Drink holder and small town sign
Love the juxtaposition.
7-second video: You can’t make these things up.

How are we supposed to think? And why?

What happens if we’re wrong or off course?

How will we know?

And if we are given insightful feedback, what will motivate us, if anything, to change course?

Day 6 CCL, mind

mountains
Swiftcurrent Fire Tower on right mountain.

Do not forget why you became a thinker.

Focus on serving yourself and those closest to you.

Do the right things for the right reasons.

Do not chase thoughts, let thoughts chase you.

Have fun.

Lean into discomfort.

Arriving to Logan Pass at 6:39 AM. Reynolds Mountain in the background. It always takes an hour from West Glacier to Logan Pass, without fail.
two people at a trailhead sign
We waited an hour after our arrival to hit the trail. Why? Waiting for it to warm up. Ps. We ain’t hiking to Hidden Lake, but we start by heading that way.

Traveling the path less traveled is the key to vibrancy.

Chapin had one last request before heading home to Walt Disney World.
12-second video: 6:00 PM. Plenty of parking spaces. On our way back to the ‘Cabin’ after dinner at Two Sisters Cafe.

The things we do for love are astonishing.

Most of them are routine.

Some of them are special.

Some, rare.

Some only happen once.
