Retired in 2014.

Thought it would be 2024.

Grateful to have been in the right place at the right time. Was able to make the early-retirement decision without sacrificing a Disney pension.

i know Disney colleagues that “retired from Disney” before retirement age. Some sacrificed 20 or more years of service and a bona fide Disney pension. Starting something new trumped a forthcoming Disney pension.

Today is our last full day in Glacier.

With freezing temps and cloudy skies, it would be cool to sit fireside, outside. A rip-roaring’ fire, good company, food and drinks.
