Forecast is sunshine all day. Snapped this picture just before 6:00am.
Gas station
First time ever seeing it above $6.00/gallon. Granted it’s super high priced because of the remote location and lack of local competition.

Top priority by a mile is to transfer five days of blog writing (and photo/video insertions) from the iPhone Notes App to WordPress.

Drove to St Mary and beelined it to our favorite St Mary Valley overlook. Been parked here since 7:30am. It’s 5:00pm as i type this.

Nearly 10 hours sitting in a mini van, doing the work.

Prolific writing happens by over-focusing on the same thing other writers under-focus on or ignore.

My immediate, and accurate, answer, ”No.”

This is one of the most intriguing questions i’ve been asked in years.

GNP Day 3, mentally

6:40am…day 3…
Apple Watch on hiking trail
2.5 hour walk…cover 6.5 miles and 3,400’ elevation gain.

Arrived by 915am to avoid forecasted rain. 

Two prioritized goals today:

  1. Secure Lake McDonald Lodge parking space. It’s the trailhead location.
  2. Reach Sperry Chalet before forecasted early morning thunderstorms.

Left Motel at 520am. Parked by 545am. 

Walked slow and steady entire trail. Kept breathing under control which keeps heart rate under control. 

Mosquitoes were brutal. 

Thank goodness for bug spray.
