Random 2025 Glacier video, mind

4-second video: August 2025. Never felt threatened. Yet always aware a threat is possible.

We have spent, and continue to spend, our life avoiding Nature Deficit Disorder.

Leaving Glacier in May

Live and learn.

May was good. Not very good nor excellent. But definitely not bad nor poor.

We needed wanted to experience late Spring in Glacier a second time because last year was a nice experience.

We learned, however, that May doesn’t have enough ‘star-power’ to match August and September.

Live and learn.

Without the trying and learning, we’d always wonder, and possibly even regret never trying May.

Back to Glacier, mind

Returned to Glacier in May for 10 days.

Did the same thing last May (2024).

Last year was good enough to have us try it again this year.

Never gonna go back in May.

Too cold.

No access to alpine hikes until mid-July.

We gave it a second try.

There won’t be a third chance.

However, we did have a wonderful experience during the cold and rainy visit…bicycling Sun Road.

Orchestrating Glacier

Expedia billing screen shot
Orchestrating July 19-Sept 2. Side note: Rental car fees have tripled.

The main thing i’m orchestrating this year (2025) is how to visit my favorite places in Glacier and say goodbye to them.
