On a friend’s suggestion, I’ve simplified navigation between the five daily blogs.

It’s basic, it’s common sense, and just one more simple improvement.

It reminds me of mid life.

Knowing Isn't Enough

Common sense at midlife should come easy.

And it usually does.

However, most people don’t practice common sense.

So in reality, they really don’t have any.

Are You Ready For Today?

Lists. Top ten lists.  Mid life.  Midlife lists. Midlife top ten lists.

Mind, Body, Spirit, Money.

Life’s Big Four.  Life’s four big decision areas.

All day long we make decisions around these four very simple concepts of mind, body, spirit and money. Mostly unaware.

Having answers to critical questions empowers us with a peace that is unknown to people still searching.

What they are searching for and why they pass by the obvious, is understandable and it is also sad. Humans are conditioned to complicate life. Complicated does not get us closer to peace.

Only discernment, organization and finally, determination to be focused and disciplined.

I know well. It’s taken me 50 years to figure it out.  Ok, I’m slow. But also determined.

There is hope for you and your dreams. If you’ve heard it once, you’ve heard it a million times – there is no shortcut.

1. Re-THINK
2. Re-PRIORITIZE
3. Re-COMMIT

Common sense, isn’t it?  Pretty simple actually.

Be careful though.  Simple does not mean easy.  Carpe diem.

More is better, right?

I’m pretty much an over-achiever.  Hard to become a 25-year Disney Cast Member and not have excellence rub off on you.

What has rubbed off on us is what we carry into mid-life.  This is why it’s a crisis. Along the way, we weren’t paying attention to common sense.

Midlife provides a second look at common sense.  Midlife does not provide an easy choice. But it does provide one.

My friend Dennis told me this a while back.  I had to ask him to repeat it a few times.

Finally, I got it.

Once I did, it reminded me of the brilliance of common sense.

But common sense is only brilliant when it’s common practice.

Otherwise, it’s like you don’t even know what common sense is.
