i don’t know what i think

Notes from an early conversation with Jody Maberry.

What does writing do for you?

i don’t know what i think until i write it down.

It’s never a bad thing to know what you think.

Self-reflection 101.

Never get bored with the basics.

Improvisation is key as a Disney leader

Disney Keynote Speakers
Yesterday. It was a cold morning at home. Hat, gloves, many layers.

Disney Keynote Speakers
Removed the cap for the video recorded portion of the visit.

Rode a bicycle to Magic Kingdom at 7:30AM yesterday to film a two-minute video for a client.

When i travel, like i did last week, the Disney Passes in my wallet come out, to travel lighter.

Forgot to put them back in and wasn’t able to enter Magic Kingdom.

What to do?

Walk over and climb the stairs to Disney’s Contemporary Resort observation deck.

Make the most of the hand you are dealt.

It was fun.

And i’m reminded what a privilege it is to enter Magic Kingdom anytime i want.

Why participate in a 72 hour challenge?

Disney author jeff noel
Keep moving forward. Progress is most consistently made in small, daily increments.

Why participate in a 72 hour challenge?

You can’t be serious.

Why?

Isn’t it obvious?

If you don’t do anything with the keynote speaker’s content within 72 hours, you won’t do anything with it…

Ever.

Scary?

It should be.

Here’s to hoping this never happens

The headwaters of two life-changing careers.

Our attitude evolves. We know this. It evolves because we keep learning and pushing ourselves. But what happens when we take learning for granted? When we feel like we’ve arrived? Or when our motives no longer push us?

Here’s to hoping this never happens.
